How long does it take?

What are the steps to form a company in Saudi Arabia?
What will I receive?
Can I incorporate remotely?
Yes, most of the process can be completed remotely via Power of Attorney. However, if you need an investor visa, biometric registration and bank presence may be required in-person. We'll walk you through exactly what’s needed.
Do I need a Saudi partner?
No. Under MISA, 100% foreign ownership is allowed in most industries. Saudi Arabia wants real businesses — companies that truly operate in the Kingdom — and encourages full foreign entry where regulations allow.
Will I receive a VAT or tax number?
Yes. Your company receives a tax ID and must register for VAT if applicable. The VAT rate in Saudi Arabia is 15%, and corporate tax applies on full profits. An annual audit is mandatory.
Can I open a bank account?
Yes, we support corporate bank account setup. Presence in the Kingdom is often required for KYC. Once your commercial registration and tax ID are active, we guide you through banking options based on your company’s activity.
What are the ongoing obligations?
Saudi Arabia requires active companies. You must file taxes on annual profit, submit audited financials, and maintain payroll compliance. Payroll can be processed through the Mudad portal or directly through your bank. We work with trusted local partners to ensure compliance.
